How to Make a Facial Scrub



Use a fruity facial scrub to invigorate your senses while you also enhance your skin. The acids in the fruit cleanses and tones. You can find the products to make a scrub in health food stores and general grocery stores. The result should make you feel as if you spent the day at a spa.







Things You'll Need:





Large bowl




1 tbs. whole oats




1 tbs. finely powdered almonds (also called almond meal)




1 tbs. amaranth




1 tbs. white clay




1 tsp. fresh apple juice




1 tsp. fresh grape juice




1 tsp. fresh pineapple juice




2 tbs. whipped cream




1/2 cup chamomile tea

Combine oats, almond meal, amaranth, white clay and the juices in a large bowl. Slowly add the whipped cream and stir the mixture well.

Add the chamomile tea slowly until the mixture is a smooth, loose, creamy texture. Massage over your face with a circular motion. Remember to be gentle.

Leave the fruity facial scrub on your face as long as it feels good. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a towel.

Keep the scrub on your face for longer periods of time if your skin tends to be dry. The almonds help hydrate it.








Tips & Warnings










Add more oats if the mixture gets too runny after you add the chamomile tea.








Make sure your towel does not aggravate your freshly cleaned face. After washing, add some baking soda and vinegar to your rinse water.








Use this recipe without the clay as a tasty fruit salad dressing. It's a healthy snack to nibble on while you complete your facial.
